Dr. Orendain opens 7th GA of PNU-LISAA, Inc.

On December 8, 2007, Dr. Maria A. Orendain, university librarian of PNU welcomed members of PNU-LISAA, Inc. through Prof. Ruben P. Marasigan. Here written is her welcome address:

This day is really special when members of PNU-LISAA, Inc meet for its 7th year with a general assembly, raffle & book donations, Christmas Party, and induction of officers 2007-2008.

To Catholics, this day is a holiday of obligations to celebrate the Immaculate Conception Feast. The Church says that “Mary’s Immaculate Conception enhances Jesus redemptive work. While humans are cleansed from original sin through baptism. In Mary, Jesus’ work was so powerful as to prevent original sin at the onset.

Let this teaching be our inspiration to celebrate this 5 in one affair with PNU-LISSA, Inc. May the spirit of Faith, Obedience, Hope and Love be rooted in our motives of our activities today.

Personally, I am very happy to see you around coming back to PNU Library. Your home and our home.

In the name of the PNU top management officials, faculty and library staff, from the bottom of our hearts we welcome you… wish you enjoy every minute of your stay here at the Library.
